Fun quiet place to stay! Close to Picton. Well equipped kitchen! No microwave. Excellent shower. Great place for two couples to enjoy a weekend away!!

The "cube" is a lovely place to stay. The architecture and design makes the space part of the Cube's surrounding bush environment. It's location offers breathtaking views! The space is quiet, welcoming and well equipped for a short or long stay. It is at a casual 15 minutes walking distance from town. We loved it and will come back!

Review based on Mother and Daughter stay. This place has the potential to be a great place to stay but sadly we were left lacking - a lot of the basics provided in other holiday homes were not provided in this one. For instance, no heater or additional blankets for cold nights or days (we had a day without sun and the place was cold - we went and brought our own heater, by comparison on sunny days its almost too hot in side), no basic condiments such as oil, baking paper, glad wrap etc, no TV (not everyone would want to watch TV but its an expected item and on cold miserable days a nice option to have). One of the biggest things to point out is that there are no curtains on any of the bedrooms (except one on the sliding door in the main room) and paths going right past the windows (one private-ish but one next to a public walkway). When you are in bed (or getting dressed in the morning) its very exposed. Mum and I actually found it quite unnerving trying to sleep. Additionally the bathroom is also very exposed (one wall at the end of the shower is full windows) and you can be seen by anyone sitting in the outdoor space or if you stand in a different spot the neighbour above or below. Property is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues due to internal stairs but also the steps to get up to the property. Those with small children would also need to take care. The birdsong is amazing and the birds are cheeky enough to come up to the windows or open space if you have the slider back and the area is really quiet. Unfortunately for us, the negatives outweigh the positives. However with some small changes this property could be a gem.

This is such a cool place to stay, with an excellent property manager. Under 5 minute drive to the town center, so you feel very central, but there is a lovely vista of hills and the town from the cube. There are some windows that do not have curtains/blinds, including the shower room. Definitely recommend staying here!

Cool modern house. Disappointing that the soft furnishings in the photos are different/missing. There’s no heating so very warm on a sunny day but cold on a grey day.

Bachcare replied

Thank you for your review, Andrew! We appreciate your feedback about the soft furnishings and will address this for future bookings. We will also look into adding more heating options to ensure the property can be kept warm during the colder months.
