Vicky “The lack of information on how to use the TV and microwave was very frustrating.”
The blinds that did not work properly were also very annoying; they tilted, but you were unable to pull them up out of the way. Nothing to say about recycling, rubbish, green waste, as Christchurch is very different. No information about where a heater was stored, and nothing that said the freezer was in the garage (found by chance). It was lovely that we could take our little dog, but there are many gaps around the river boundary fence he could get out and we had to block them up with firewood ...
It was lovely that we could take our little dog, but there are many gaps around the river boundary fence he could get out and we had to block them up with firewood from the garage. Although unclear whether it is the owners or Bach care that has no understanding that (local) people ex South Island cannot take their own sheets and towels and save on the cost is beyond us. Would love to go again to stay BUT would have to really think about it, if there was refund in payment for own towels/linen and self-cleaning. As a retired couple who have frequently had holiday homes around the South Island and are more than happy to clean behind themselves, we find the lack of refund rather hard.
