Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

This warm and inviting Point Wells home is designed with open-plan living, dining, and kitchen spaces that frame the beauty of Whangateau Harbour. Large sliding doors open out to the waterfront deck and the sheltered southwest courtyard, flooding the home with natural light throughout the day and creating an effortless indoor-outdoor flow. Revel in relaxed evenings with a glass of local wine, or summer BBQs enjoyed al fresco. Downstairs, you’ll find three light-filled bedrooms and two bathrooms, while the upstairs master suite features an ensuite and a private harbour-view balcony — the perfect spot for your morning coffee. The second bedroom, located downstairs also has a private ensuite with a bathtub, while the third bathroom is shared. Nestled privately down a tree-lined driveway, this home sits right on the water’s edge. At high tide, the calm and shallow waters are ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, or launching the dinghy provided (with oars and 2 life jackets for guest use). Point Wells is a hidden gem — quiet, community-minded, and surrounded by natural beauty. Take a bike to the local general store for fish and chips, jump off the jetty at high tide, play a game at the nearby tennis courts, or explore Matakana’s wineries, markets, and beaches just minutes away. All this, less than an hour from central Auckland.

About the location
Just over an hours drive from Auckland, Point Wells is located to the west of Omaha and close to Matakana. Mostly populated by holiday homes, Point Wells is a peaceful town reminiscent of 1950's New Zealand. While being a little town, it's also close to the most popular attractions of the area including the Matakana Markets, Omaha Beach, Tawharanui Regional Park and various wineries of the region. Overall, it's a great year-round escape to unwind and recharge. All of our Point Wells holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.
