    “What a magical place!”

    No TV, bad reception... a full remote experience to be with nature! The kids had a blast creating their own fun away from technology! The views were amazing and so much native wildlife to watch! Definitely a great spot. Pukawa Bay as well is a beautiful little lake beach as well. Would definitely recommend.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The property

The outdoor area includes a deck facing Lake Taupo, providing some of the best views in the area. The huge open-plan living area is perfect for everyone to hang out during the day, equipped with classic board games, window seats for sunlit reading, and a cozy fireplace. One of its standout features is an old wooden pianola that plays music from paper scrolls, adding to its rich character. Ideal for large groups, Lake View Lodge serves as a great home base for ski season, summer beach outings, and escaping city life to immerse in nature. The property is very secluded, located at the end of a long driveway and surrounded by trees. It ensures peace and privacy, making it a perfect retreat year-round. Nearby attractions include Lake Taupo's recreational activities, ski fields for winter sports, and beautiful beaches for summer relaxation, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy. All guests should take care at the back section of the property where it rolls off downhill.

Located on the Southern end of Lake Taupo, Pukawa Bay is known for a tranquil native bush setting with walking tracks weaving through it.
