“No linen on a late night arrival, the downstairs toilet seat is on its last legs, the power tripped and the switchboard is in a locked cupboard which I had to break into to switch the circuit breaker back on.”
Being an electrician this is actually illegal, in case of an electrical fire you need to be able to access the main switchboard. Other than that, the fireplace was amazing, great location and very well equipped with essentials. We will be back.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Brimming with rustic charm, this Lockwood interior provides a warm and welcoming space to relax and unwind. The open-plan living space has been decorated with comfort in mind - sink into the couches and switch on the TV or play the abundance of board games while you’re warmed by the wood-burning fireplace. A country-style kitchen and six-seating dining table mean you can gather around and enjoy a home-cooked meal. Equipped with outdoor seating, take a seat on the decking and enjoy the all-day sun while being surrounded by an array of native planting! Split over two levels, this holiday home sleeps up to seven guests across three bedrooms. The upstairs master bedroom provides a queen and pull-out bed, as well as gorgeous mountain views! The secondary bedroom is comprised of one Queen bed and two single beds, while you’ll find the third bedroom downstairs equipped with a queen. Enjoy the convenience of two full bathrooms and full laundry facilities throughout your stay. There is an unfenced stream in the back garden, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.
All guests should take care when using the internal stairs as although they have a handrail, they do not have a barrier to prevent falls.
All guests are encouraged to use the handrail when accessing the internal stairs as they are quite steep.
