Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Set over two levels, Sunshine and Snow Lodge sleeps up to eight guests, and features a contemporary living and dining area located on the ground floor. This area comes with a heat pump and gas fireplace to keep you warm on those frosty winter nights while creating a cosy alpine atmosphere. Sunshine and Snow Lodge offers the perfect setting for family and friends with comfy beds spread across three bedrooms. The upstairs master bedroom boasts its own ensuite bathroom and private balcony, while a double room, a bunk room, and spacious family bathroom downstairs complete the setup for your stay. Situated in one of New Zealand's most popular winter hot spots, this Ohakune accommodation is just minutes away by car to great local shops, cafes and eateries, as well as the famous Powder Keg with its restaurant and thermal pool. Enjoy being just a one-hour drive away from Mt Ruapehu, which offers a stunning snowy landscape to test your ski skills! Turoa is just 20 minutes away by car, and Whakapapa is 45. If you're here on a summer getaway, it's only eight minutes drive to Tongariro National Park, which is home to some world-famous walking trails including the must-do Tongariro Crossing. When you get home off the mountain all the gear can be safely stored in the drying room for day two on the snow. About the location

The Ruapehu region is a heady mix of action and adventure, perfect for snow lovers as the location of the North Island's two best ski fields. A visit to the Tongariro Crossing in National Park is a must and top this off with a visit to Whanganui National Park, taking in magical waterfalls during your epic paddle down Whanganui River. A trip to Mt Ruapehu wouldn't be complete without checking out the snow at one of the ski fields in Ohakune during Winter, and of course getting a photo with the giant carrot!
