    “Great that we can stay in a warm chalet with a great shower at the end of a day at the snow.”

    A couple of things would make the stay more comfortable. Fix the light over the stove, it's dark and tricky to cook, fix the element on the stove top right it runs hot and super hot and we would have loved a dish rack. Not the comfiest couches team, but we slept well in the mountain air. Thanks kindly for sharing your chalet with us.

Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

After your long days shredding on the mountain, tuck into a delicious meal prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. Or if you’re here for a summer stay, fire up the BBQ on the deck and dine outdoors while admiring the idyllic scenery that surrounds you. The Chill Out Chalet has all the holiday essentials to keep everyone entertained, including complimentary WiFi, board games, a TV with Freeview, and a huge variety of DVDs for a movie night in. You’ll have no trouble finding a place to rest the body after an adventure-packed day. Two bedrooms on the mezzanine level, each with a double bed and single bed, comfortably sleep up to six guests here, with a generous bathroom and full laundry completing the set up for your stay. When it's time to hit the powder, this Ohakune accommodation is a quick 21-minute drive to Turoa, or 38 minutes to Whakapapa. During the warmer months, put your tramping boots on and hit the Mangawhero Forest Walk to witness some breath-taking scenery. On the way back home, stop by the Powderkeg Restaurant and Bar for a cold beverage, or top up on some supplies at New World just a four-minute drive from The Chill out Chalet.
