Linen
Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
Perfectly positioned to enjoy panoramic views out toward Lake Taupo, this huge five-bedroom holiday home has a downstairs self-contained unit, making it an ideal base for those big family getaways. Welcome to Omori Manor! Drenched in sunlight thanks to an abundance of windows, the upstairs open-plan living and dining space is furnished for comfort and relaxation. The leather lounge suite beckons you to nestle in to watch something exciting on the Apple TV, while the wood-burning fireplace and heat pump ensure the perfect temperature no matter the season. A well-equipped kitchen completes the indoor living setup. Sliding glass doors invite seamless indoor-outdoor flow to the wrap-around deck, offering alfresco living just as enjoyable as you’ll find inside. Outdoor furniture, complete with shade umbrella, and a BBQ are the perfect pair for sunny summer afternoons spent with family and friends. And the view is just the cherry on top! Four sunny bedrooms upstairs here at Omori Manor sleep up to seven guests, with the master featuring a king-size bed and a private balcony, perfect for enjoying that morning coffee. Omori Manor is the perfect place for two families, or a large extended family, to come together for a getaway to the lake. A self-contained downstairs unit offers spacious studio style living with a kitchenette, lounge suite, TV and a single bed! There’s also a 2 separate bedrooms with 1 Queen Size Bed and another with a Single Bed and Double Bunk (Double on the bottom, single on top) and full bathroom on offer. There’s plenty of space to park the boat here at Omori Manor, and the closest public boat ramp is just a two-minute drive away! There are also great bushwalks and bike trails around Omori Manor to be enjoyed. On a hot day if you want to grab an ice cream, or maybe you don't feel like cooking and want to grab some takeaways, you'll find the local shops a one-minute drive, or seven-minute walk, away. About the location
Located on the Southern end of Lake Taupo, Omori is a more secluded area around the lake. There's plenty of native bush and bushwalks to do here, as well as water-based activities on the lake such as kayaking, swimming, boating and water skiing. Because the area stretches over a hill, most of the holiday homes have a great view of the lake. All of our Omori holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.

“Several serious issues made our stay extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable: 1.”
No fire starter was provided, which made it impossible to use the fireplace – something we had looked forward to. 2. The bathroom door lock was broken, compromising privacy, and the ground-floor shower door required excessive force to close, making it difficult to use. 3. The dishwasher was not working, and we were unable to wash dishes properly during our stay. 4. Most concerning, the power kept tripping, and none of the heaters worked at night, leaving the entire house freezing. This was ...

Most concerning, the power kept tripping, and none of the heaters worked at night, leaving the entire house freezing. This was especially distressing for the children, who were very cold and uncomfortable. 5. There were no paper towels provided, which made cleaning and general use inconvenient. 6. Lastly, there was visible mould on the bathroom walls, which is both unsightly and a potential health hazard. These conditions are completely unacceptable for any accommodation, and we are extremely dissatisfied with the lack of basic amenities and maintenance. We expected a safe, clean, and functional environment, and unfortunately, that standard was not met.
We’re sorry to hear your stay didn’t meet expectations. We’ve followed up with the property manager, and several updates have since been made. The bathroom door has been repaired, the dishwasher was found switched off at the power source; this was working during the property manager's pre-stay check, and Samba fire starters were supplied. The shower was found not to have mould but has been cleaned and the No More Nails removed, the kettle has been replaced, and the welcome booklet has been updated. Paper towels aren’t typically provided, but we appreciate the suggestion. The power issue was resolved by resetting the pump, and we always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can assist promptly. Thank you again.
