“Shower was terrible no pressure at all- rail needed for steps outside night light would be great- a note from owners on what needs to be done for example bob day - where to put rubbish as there was not adequate bins… driveway needed paint or something for night arrival as it’s a rather steep driveway!”
Would not recommend this property! Needed a bit if a dust as well- plus too busy with things all around!, especially as we have five adults not a lot of room to move around!

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
Wanting to stay in a wee place nestled amongst native bush where you can see Pīwakawaka, Tūī and Kererū and views of the lake? Hauraki Haven, 12 mins from Taurangi and the gateway to central North Island destinations awaits your arrival! With the entry into the open plan living area, you will see the spacious kitchen equipped with the essentials from a fridge freezer, microwave, standalone oven, large sandwich press, electric fry pan and plenty of serving ware for your catering needs. The marble dining table is there to entertain in the dining space. Relax over in the lounge area which is a cosy nook to kick back and relax around the pot belly stove. Open the curtains and take in the view, stunning Lake Taupo will take your breath away in any weather! In summer you can enjoy soaking up the sun on the deck which runs the length of the bach. The main bedroom entertains a beautiful outlook taking in the lake views. In the morning you can enjoy sitting in the rocking chair reading a book with a cuppa in hand whilst the sun streams in. The twin bedroom is a perfect size for the kids or friends staying with you. Who needs to do washing when you are having a break? But you can, as this bach houses a laundry/bathroom. There is a shower/bath to enjoy a soak after a long day. Your safety is paramount to the owners, so there are smoke detectors in the property.
