Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

You can even take your living outdoors and gather around the firepit with a beverage in hand, making long lasting memories with your group under the stars. The spacious open-plan living area has your indoor entertainment covered, enjoy snuggling into one of the comfy couches and flicking on the Smart TV with Freeview, staying connected on the complimentary WiFI, challenging your group to a board game, or sinking into a good book. There’s something for everyone here! Four bedrooms, including a self-contained sleep out, comfortably sleeps up to eight guests at The Orchard House, providing the ideal configuration for a variety of groups. Two modern bathrooms and a washing machine, iron and ironing board complete the set up for your stay. This Tūrangi accommodation is placed close to much of the adventure-filled and picturesque activities on offer in this area. Take a 6-minute drive to the Tokaanu Thermal Pools and let your worries melt away in the bubbling waters. If you looking for the perfect fishing spot, its just 400 metres away on the Tongariro River and the property has a dedicated fish cleaning bench off the back deck to make preparing your catch nice and easy! The idyllic Tongariro National Park is only a 31-minute drive from home base, which is host to a variety of walking tracks and scenery waiting to be admired. “The property is average overall.”
The backyard is good and well maintained; however, there are a few issues that need to be addressed. Mattresses are old and need replacing . The hot water supply in the outhouse shower is inconsistent. Additionally, the door leading from the main house to the deck cannot be locked, which poses a safety concern for guests staying there with valuables. Despite contacting Bachcare several times, these issues were not resolved. There is also no direct contact information provided for the managing ...

Thank-you for your feedback,we don't know what's going on if no one tells us. The mattress in bedroom 1 in the house is three years old, can't vouch for the others but no one else has complained. Not to sure what's going on with the hot water in the sleep out, but will look into it thanks. The door to the deck does lock, you have to lift the handle to engage the locking lugs then you are able to lock the door, it does catch a few people out,as for not being able to contact batchcare I will take this up with them.
