Adis “House was all good convenient place esp if got kids as the big playground is walking distance.”
- Adis, September 2024 -
Desiree “Such a beautiful place to be.”
The house is perfectly equipped and had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable/homely stay with our two younger kids. The spa pool was an amazing way to finish off the day after being up at the mountain. Thank you so much for having us, definitely hope to be back again!
- Desiree, June 2024Danielle “Lovely and warm place to stay.”
Nice and close to the carrot park for the kids. Had all the basics. Bonus having a bath in the bathroom for the kids. Only things I can fault would be that the dryer was quite hard to get going and the main couch and bed were not the most comfortable.
- Danielle, May 2024Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback as we are always working on improving the care of our properties. Bachcare
Niyati “This place is stunning with beautiful views of mountains and over the top amenities provided.”
We would definitely book this place over and over again when in okahune.
- Niyati, January 2023Rezvan “We stayed two nights in December but believe would be a better experience if had stayed during Winter months.”
It was hot but there was only one heatpump that was installed in the smallest bedroom whose remote wasn't available. Since the Bachcare advertisement had heatpump as one of the property features, we contacted their Customer Service, but received a text message saying that "I’ve just been advised by the property manager that the remote for the heat pump has been removed as it is currently not available to be used." There were many bugs outside, so leaving the doors and windows open wasn't a good option either. But the house was clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen, though the extent of our cooking was frying a few sausages and a couple of onions. However the outdoor needed more attention when the lawns hadn't been done, also the hot tub needed a good clean. We tried using its water cleaning cycle but didn't help with the hairs floating in the water or the leaves or debris. There were a couple of holes on the deck where the timber had broken and fallen off. Fortunately, we didn't have any kids, so wasn't a major for us but would be good to get them fixed. The beds were clean and comfy. The kitchen/lounge areas were connected by a hallway to the bedrooms which can help those who prefer a bit of quiet. Certainly a lovely place for a Winter stay.
- Rezvan, December 2022Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. The owner is planning to purchase a fan for the summer months and there are block-out blinds that can be used to prevent bugs from entering the home. The grounds & hot tub are maintained professionally for year-round enjoyment. We look forward to welcoming you back very soon. Bachcare
Veenal “Loved everything about the property.”
Had a wonderful stay there. Lovely view of Mt Ruapehu. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Everything was above our expectations. Would recommend this property to all my friends and families.
- Veenal, December 2022Michelle “Great stay, comfortable and clean.”
The kids loved the spa. We couldnt get the dryer to work but the drying room was sufficient. Thank you.
- Michelle, August 2022Jessie “Absolutely enjoyed our stay!”
! What a lovely home you shared with us. Super clean and warm, amenities were fantastic! Lots of towels (no face cloths though?!?) And tea and coffee all provided. Only issue was the spa was cold in the mornings (we assumed it's on an eco mode overnight), would have been fantastic if we could of watched the sun come up in the spa. Thankyou so much, we will definitely be staying again.
- Jessie, July 2022Shanah “Our whanau had a beautiful stay.”
The house is spotlessly clean, comfortable and the view of Mt Ruapehu is amazing. Enjoyed walking into the cozy home with the gas fire blazing and the spa ready to soak in, thank you for the warm welcoming. The drying room and space out the back to kick a ball around is great, definately a home that accommodates family. We will love to come back.
- Shanah, July 2022Sharnalee “This property was perfect.”
Modern, warm, dry, even in the snowy months. The spa was a hit with the kids after a day up the mountain. The linen was all good quality, and beds comfortable. We will be back, thankyou.
