Mark “We were very disappointed by the cleanliness of the kitchen.”
All surfaces were very greasy to the touch, there was food spills on the stove top and cupboard doors, the drawers had bits of food and human hair in them, some of the cutlery was quite dirty and needed to be washed before use as did the crockery and pots and pans. I spent around 1.5 hours cleaning all of the above to get things to an acceptable standard. I would also like to point out that a comment in the reviews from a month earlier also noted some of these concerns. I am also awaiting a response from Bachcare in respect of this issue which I raised over 2 weeks ago. That said, if the property was fully clean it's a reasonably nice house to stay at.

Matt “We loved our stay, the location was perfect and the set up was great.”
Beds were comfy and good facilities. The kitchen draws need a clean there was food and dirty marks and lots of dog poo in the garden which wasn't ideal for the kiddos! Apart from that, the place was awesome and we will definitely book again

Would have been good to have had the lawns mowed. Bachcare- would have been good to have been able to change our booking dates given that it was only a one day change. Also the cleaning fee is very high considering the expectation is that the house is left clean at the end of the stay.

The house was so easy to warm up and the heat pump and heater was on when we arrived. It even had a bath which is a bit hard to come by in modern smaller houses so it was nice to take a bath after a day on the mountain.

Very practical. The fire was amazing. Having the carpet in the lounge meant the kids could still be warm while playing board games etc. Would absolutely stay again. Had friends visit with kids, fitted 9 of us in easily for a day with all meals eaten at the house.

Perfect for two families with little ones in the bunk room. Great drying room and also being able to pull up to the door under cover to unload. Fantastic central location.
