Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

Nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac near The Junction, with a serene green outlook and brand new spa pool, this three-bedroom holiday home is an idyllic spot for your next Ohakune escape. Welcome to the Ski Country Chalet! Drenched in sunlight right up to its dramatic vaulted ceilings, and with heat pumps to set just the right temperature year-round, Ski Country Chalet features a spacious and inviting open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. There’s enough room for everyone to find their own spot to relax, while still knowing there’s company if you want it. After a day on the slopes, take a dip in the spa pool or get comfy on the couch with a hot cup of coffee from the Nespresso machine and upload your holiday snaps using the complimentary WIFI. Or tune in to the Smart TV and find something on Sky to watch - Sky Sport channel is available throughout the year! There’s even a DVD and BluRay library, a Playstation 3, and a selection of board games if a movie or game night is on the cards. A modern and fully equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare hearty meals to keep you energised for your daily adventures. In the warmer months, enjoy dining outdoors on the deck with views out across the neighbouring reserve. At the end of the day, three bedrooms offer everyone a place to lay their head. Two queens and a double bunk room (double bunk bed with a single on top) provide a range of options for any group. There are two full bathrooms for ample convenience, and the main one offers a large double shower for that extra touch of luxury. Just like you, your mountain gear needs a place to spend the night and get fresh for its next outing. A laundry, complete with both a washing machine and dryer, has space to store your equipment. There’s also a boot rack and a heater in there to keep your gear nice and dry. Ski Country Chalet is only 20 minutes from the slopes of Turoa, and 40 minutes from Whakapapa. When you want to pop out for a bite to eat, it’s just a 10-minute walk to The Junction where you’ll find the famous Powderkeg Restaurant and Bar. If you need general supplies or some more shopping options, drive to Ohakune township in just five minutes. A spacious and comfortable holiday home with a classic Kiwi bach feel - this is Ski Country Chalet!

Perfectly based to jet off to the Bridge to Nowhere, the Tongariro Crossing or one of the many stunning alpine walks or mountain bike trails, it's a true haven for your next adventure. It's well worth the four and a half hour drive from Auckland or 90 minutes from Taupo in Winter or Summer! All of our Ohakune holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.
