Beds were comfortable as were the pillows. It might pay to check oven as we could not get it going and think it is likely to be something to do with timer. As there were no instructions we couldnât fix it. We would definitely use the house again as was really lovely and close to town.

I also think bachcare as a company is exploiting customers through extra charges. We added an extra night and the algorithm had adjusted making the house more expensive despite the fact it was sitting empty for the 10 days. Had the house been offered for the original price we booked it for, we would have stayed for several more days.

So close to town and the pools. Only down side was no bins for rubbish or recycling which would become an increasing problem with longer stays, and we werenât provided enough towels for everybody.

The fireplace, so easy to get it going, it heated up the house in no time. Thereâs a huge heat bump in the hallway which heated up the rooms so fast, such a bonus. My family were in awe with the place. Loved the kitchen, we cooked breakfast and dinner there on the first night, and dishwasher was perfect. Everything in the house was an easy access, and the house had everything in it, everything that you need were there. I could not have booked a better house. Loved the wall arts on the wall, best location, walked to the nearest restaurants, and to the pub, was awesome!!! 150% Loved it ! Thank you BookaBach Highly recommended to all. AAA++

To find the house warm was an absolute bonus. Loved the 'cosy' feel of the house, and it had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, and despite it being Winter the heating was more than adequate to keep us toasty warm. The fact that it was within walking distance to shops and pools was a great. Had family from Christchurch to visit while there, they too loved it. A very relaxed stay, wish we lived closer to do it again. A couple of things need doing, the heater in the main bathroom needs the dust motes cleared, and the heat pump needs the filter done. (I'm a H&S specialist). Other than those 2 things, fabulous house, loved the art on the walls.

The bedrooms were massive! Lots of room to put a portacot up in the master bedroom. Heatpump in the hallway which was on when we arrived along with a full woodshed to light the fire if we needed. The house was a short walk to the township/pools etc. The bathrooms were a wee bit dated, but still perfectly functional. We will be back with friends to stay again. Would definitely recommend.

Plenty of space for the kids to run around. Very close to town, we were able to just walk to the pools. Would definitely come back and stay again.

A good size backyard also. Comfy welcoming house with great heating (grunty air con and good fire with plenty of wood). Comfy couches and plenty of space for us all. Comfortable beds!! Smart TV was great for streaming movies to. Practical kitchen, knives need to be sharpened though. Good Wifi.

The manager switching the heat pump on an hour before check in time would have helped. Also the TV system (for Sky TV etc) was unable to be accessed because the email address and password provided appeared to be incorrect, and there were no subtitles for the hard of hearing on the free to air TV - which makes TV watching impossible for me.
