The property
Matarangi is approximately thirty minutes drive from either Whitianga or Coromandel town. This large self-contained unit offers one large 7x4 metre bedroom with an en-suite and separate TV from the lounge. It can comfortably sleep up to two, for a comfy retreat perfect for a couple. Make the most of this close proximity to the golf course and beach, and take a long stroll along Matarangi Beach or short walk around the Matarangi Spit. Why not book in a round of golf at the The Dunes golf course which is walking distance. Rings Beach and Kuotunu are also closeby, both 10-minutes drive. Starting from this relaxing Matarangi retreat, discover so much of the Coromandel's best beaches, lookouts and walks an easy drive away! About the location

“We had a wonderful holiday over the long weekend staying in Matarangi.”
The beach retreat was exactly what we were looking for and we highly recommend it. The owner was highly attentive and kept us updated over txt the whole time if we needed anything. Was quiet and beautifully decorated. Would definitely return. A few nitpicks that didn't take away from the holiday - The listing says hobs and oven, there was an airfryer that could count as an oven but no hobs for cooking on. There was no extinguisher in the bathroom as stated (not that we needed one but ...

The guest netflix can't be used when it is already in use by the owner so we found both times we tried to use it that it was in use. Overall very happy and a 5 star stay!
Thanks for your feedback appreciate that. I have only just noticed that some things were in the listing that shouldn’t be there so I’ve now had them removed & added an air fryer. I don’t know how they got there. The extinguisher was under the kitchen sink. I will install it on the wall so it’s easily seen. I will change my Netflix listing so others can watch.
