“Upon our arrival, we thought wow what a fabulous property and then we opened the door to the unit.”
.. The floor was dirty, hadn't been vacuumed or mopped since previous guests dirt, dust and washing powder on the floor, smelt like rotting fish, showers had Orange mould (we went & purchased exit mould to clean before use- you're welcome), dirty bathtub, right-side vanity bulb in upstairs bathroom not working the glass of the showers were dirty, toilets were dirty. Finger and forehead marks on the windows, can see tried to clean but were just a smeared mess. The fridge and freezer were filthy, ...

The floor was dirty, hadn't been vacuumed or mopped since previous guests dirt, dust and washing powder on the floor, smelt like rotting fish, showers had Orange mould (we went & purchased exit mould to clean before use- you're welcome), dirty bathtub, right-side vanity bulb in upstairs bathroom not working the glass of the showers were dirty, toilets were dirty. Finger and forehead marks on the windows, can see tried to clean but were just a smeared mess. The fridge and freezer were filthy, with dead flies, and we had to clean them before putting away our food, Beds, thank god the sheets were clean, but there was dust on headboards and cobwebs in corners all over the unit, dirty ear bud in hot water cupboard, the railing for the staircase was so dirty even my 12-year-old son asked for cleaning products and cloth to clean, dirty marks all over the walls, we took photos of everything including damage to walls that were already there. very disappointing start to the holiday especially after a 5-and-a-half-hour drive. The vacuum Cleaner was full of dirt and the mop...well what was left of the sponge on the mop, I'm always happy to clean, but you need to ensure that the vacuum has been emptied and that there is sponge left on the mop to be able to use. Then we finally cleaned and unpacked... then to use the BBQ... OMG, it was also dirty. On our departure, we stripped the beds to ensure the next guests would get clean bedding. The single bed is the size for a child, my 12-year-old is tall for his age almost 5.9, and he struggled with the size of the bed, would recommend stating this in the advert. I highly recommend the Owners of this property get rid of the cleaners for this property, we waited for an hour outside the unit hoping to catch the cleaners on our departure, but they were a no-show. Overall the stay was great, loved the slow-paced beach vibe, was quiet considering how busy the golfing range was and when we were at the unit we enjoyed watching the golfers, which we decided to do a golfing day all the neighbours we met were great, very friendly. Recommendations to Owners: (1) Get new Cleaners (2) Either get a full-size single to advertise that is for a small child (3) Put a Guest Manual in the unit with instructions, rubbish days/locations recommendations etc (4) Declutter pantry, awesome you have so much stuff, but hardly any room to put our groceries. (5) Car Parks are small, our standard unit was too long, lucky we could back it in to overhang over the grass. Honestly, this is a great unit, a great setting etc, just needs more professional cleaners. We did appreciate the Bottle of Wine, chocolates and the coffee pods :) We have all the photos, should you wish to see them, just email me and I can send them through.
