Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

After a mere two-minute stroll to the beach, return home and relax in the open-plan living area. Lounge on bean bags with a good book, and as the sun sets on warm summer evenings, fire up the BBQ for some delightful alfresco dining. Accommodating up to eight guests across three bedrooms, including a sleepout with a bathroom, Barefoot Daze provides ample space for the whole family to unwind. Beyond the convenience of being a short walk to the beach, you're also just a quick drive away from the local café for your caffeine fix. The Village Green, host to summer events including A Taste of Matarangi, is only a few minutes away as well. For family fun, explore the local children's playground, try fishing off the rocks between Rings and Matarangi Beach, or embark on a scenic 20-minute drive to New Chums, one of New Zealand's best beaches. Just a 2.5 hour drive from Auckland, Matarangi is a picturesque seaside township located between Whitianga and the Coromandel. The area enjoys a world-class golf course and numerous scenic walkways. Just north of Matarangi lays New Chums Beach, only accessible via a 40-minute bush walk or by boat.     “Lockbox code provided was incorrect.”

    The cleanliness of the entire property was poor. Barefoot daze - you definitely do not want to walk bare foot in this house. We had to vacuum ourselves - what started with an empty vacuum cleaner ended up filling up quite a substantial amount. We left the property cleaner than what we arrived with. Insects everywhere - ants, spiders, cockroaches and various other insects. Rusted utensils/pots. Holes in the doors, stains on the carpet. Curtain railings need to be replaced. Window sills have not ...
