One of the true highlights of this retreat is the private Japanese-inspired spa pool, thoughtfully positioned for complete relaxation. Whether you’re soaking under the stars in the evening or unwinding after a day of exploring, this tranquil space offers a unique and peaceful escape. Havenbrooke also boasts a lush garden and generous section filled with mature trees, abundant birdlife, inviting outdoor living areas, and even a river flowing through the property. Take your pick — cool off with a dip in the river, enjoy an alfresco meal beneath the trees, or simply relax and soak in the serenity of your surroundings. Inside, Havenbrooke is cosy and comfortable, featuring an open-plan bedroom, living, dining and kitchenette area that opens onto a sheltered sundeck and then out to the garden. The kitchenette provides everything needed for quick and easy breakfasts and lunches. When you’re ready to dine out, you’ll love being just a five-minute drive from Waipapa, or in the other direction, close to Kerikeri Inlet and the main township offering plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Kerikeri is renowned for its rich history and natural beauty. Visit the stunning Rainbow Falls just six minutes away, explore the swimming hole below, discover the country’s oldest building seven minutes from your door, or wander through Kerikeri township and enjoy the vibrant local scene. Summer or winter, relaxation awaits at Havenbrooke, especially in your own private spa retreat.

As the property has direct access to the river, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water.

About the location
Kerikeri is a fantastic town to linger in, and was voted New Zealand's top small town. It is rich with history, and visitors can visit the historic Kerikeri Mission Station for a very small cost. The Kerikeri township offers great dining opportunities, and some wonderful boutique stores. All of our Kerikeri holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.
