Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

A functional layout for families and groups, this retro retreat sleeps up to eleven guests. Four generous bedrooms are split across two levels, while each floor is complemented by a full bathroom. An additional downstairs living space means there’s ample space to relax and unwind. Indoor-outdoor flow expands your living onto the expansive upper-level deck, which enjoys outdoor seating and a BBQ. This picturesque spot is surrounded by trees, rolling hills and a glimpse of Lake Taupo! As the deck barrier is below 1 metre high, all guests should take care in this area due to the risk of falls.

All guests are encouraged to use the handrail when using the internal stairs as they are quite steep.

There is a kayak available to use but guests must bring their own life-jackets to gain access to these.

About the location

On the opposite side of the lake to Taupo, Kuratau is a small peaceful town with plenty of outdoor activities on offer. Spend the day out on the water with kayaks, boats and water skis, or go fly fishing for rainbow trout in the Tongariro River. Being further away from the bustle of Taupo, it's also an ideal location for a relaxing holiday to get away from it all.
