“Lovely location and very good house but needs attention to some things: we were not able to operate the TV - too complex and no instructions so could not even watch the daily news.”

The air conditioner did not work, we could not turn it on, probably because of old battery in the remote. Ice trays were dirty and there was old ice left in the freezer. Please give your guests a bit more soap - all bottles had just a minimum amount left. Kitchen was good and had everything we needed. Some info on what is available around would have been welcome such as the nearby shops and Pembroke bakery and the Outlet trail.

“The Vodafone Box refused to connect with the TV and TV refused to connect with the aerial (if there was one).”

Now it would've been great to bond with a new partner but when you've been together with someone for 30 years and are hard of hearing, TV is a lifesaver! Hardwiring the Vodafone box to the router is the only way. Also the wifi was almost non-existent as it would loose connection the moment we'd go past the bedroom...and that made the dining table too small for both of us to work on the one with a weaker back was working on the table the other on the bed when needed! Now its ok if our stay was 1 or 2 nights, but we were there for 4 nights and a lot of time we had to take time off from doing "touristy" things to work in a pub! In our 4 day stay, no one even connected with us to check if everything was ok! My advise...... whatever you advertise, make sure it works 100% of the time - no exceptions....and you get confirmation from the occupant about it - every time. In this day and age, you cannot underestimate the power of wifi. Will I book again with Bachcare - ONLY if I have a 100% money back guarantee that absolutely everything advertised worked 100% of the time.
