“The place itself is great!”
Location was great, the kitchen was very well-equiped, etc... Unfortuntately Bachcare does a really bad job at managing it. We arrived at 9pm after a long drive, with two tired kids. Turns out that we were given the wrong check-in code so we couldn't get inside. We called Bachcare, got the automated message that we were calling out of hours and needed to call a different number. Which had the exact same message, including that we needed to call that number!! We called a few times and left a message, but nobody answered the phone nor called back. Luckily, one of the neighbours could get hold of the owner of the place and, also luckily, the owner had the correct code. But it was a stressful way to start the holiday. More shockingly, even the next day, bachcare didn't try to call us back, or email, to check whether everything was OK. This request for feedback is their first message! If you book through an agency, you have some sense of security in case something goes wrong--but they are clearly lying that they have 24/7 support. Furthermore, the cleaning procedure is not good enough. It looks clean at first sight, but there were blood stains on the linen, a sock left in wir, the BBQ was dirty, and there was lots of dust underneath the beds. The windows could do with a cleaning as well. I'd accept this level of cleaning for a very cheap rental place, but not for this high end one. If I were the owner, I'd look for another property manager.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
