Janine “We loved our stay at this beautiful property!”
We were delighted to find the house had heating and lighting on when we arrived, which was so appreciated as we had experienced quite a long day. We were very cosy and found that the property offered a great selection of appliances and cookware, as we prefer to self cater when we are away. Bonus that New World is just down the road! We highly recommend this property.
- Janine, June 2024Becky “This house is amazing!”

- Becky, June 2023Lisa “Recently stayed here while doing the Tongariro Alpine Crossing.”
Beautiful home, very cozy and has all the things you need to enjoy your stay. Great communication. Very true to the photos. Would definitely recommend and will be back with my family. Thank you.
- Lisa, March 2023Paul “Great place to stay!”
The kids loved it, and the cupboard full of games was a huge bonus. Beautiful, warm and cosy - felt like home.
- Paul, August 2022John “The fireplace warmed the area near it but not the whole house.”
The master bedroom had NO heat in -2 degree temperature. We saw that this was mentioned in the guest book previously as well. Even an electric blanket would have been nice. But when I called and left a message on Friday morning I didn’t get any response the rest of the weekend.
- John, July 2022We will certainly address the heating in the master bedroom and apologies that we did not get back to you during your stay. Bachcare

- Vinash, July 2022Sarah “What a fabulous holiday home!”
The house is warm, comfortable and spacious. It easily accommodated 6 adults. It is well equipped with quality fixtures and fittings and was spotlessly clean. Location is excellent…a 2 minute drive to town . Would definitely stay again
- Sarah, April 2022Tui “Wonderful warm property with a great layout and well furnished and stocked with books, games, jigsaws and movies.”
We really enjoyed our family get together there. The table was comfortably able to seat all 9 of us and there was room enough for a 10th person had there been one.
