The Tui’s Lookout is perfect for summer mountain biking adventures as well with ample space under the house for bike trailers and a large wood shed / bike lock up. Sleeping up to 8 guests (6 adults and 2 children) in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, ensures everyone will be able to find a space to settle in and enjoy the holiday without stepping on each other's toes. Kick back in comfort, or step out to make the most of everything Mt Ruapehu and Ohakune has to offer. Less than 20-minutes till you're hitting the slopes of Turoa Ski Field and less than an hour to Whakapapa Ski Field.     “A perfect holiday house for a summer holiday for my adult family.”

    We enjoyed the biking, walking and forests which were just a short distance from the house. The holiday house was well equipped, especially the kitchen which had all the equipment that we needed. The view of the mountain from the deck was wonderful, but the stormy clouds often obscured the view. A couple of issues for your attention The microwave turntable does not turn. The bbq is very heavy to carry upstairs. Perhaps it could be left on the deck during summer.
