Location from the beach was great and didn't find the traffic noise to be an issue. Great selection of DVDs but unfortunately couldn't get the player to work. Some of the dishes weren't too clean but other than that the place was quite tidy. It is quite an old house but was very comfortable.

Natasha “Kia Ora Please note for the most part, we had a great stay and loved the location, unfortunately, the condition and upkeep of the property does not match all the rules and checklists that we were responsible for as rental guests, nor does the cost per night.”
We have stayed at two other properties during stay, both only $20 more per night and in immaculate condition with a whole heap of extraâs and detailed directions, information, and instructions â which we so appreciated. We appreciated the speed with which we were contacted relating to the unexpected tenant from a back property but seems very strange that there is only one mailbox, and Bachcare didnât know there was another tenant or that the driveway was a shared access, so needing to park up the street on the roadside as there were yellow lines directly outside the house. The spare blankets smelt old and musty (which we needed to use as there was only one blanket on each bed), and 3 of our family members were attacked by bed bugs in two of the rooms. There were broken ceiling tiles, and lino, mold in areas on the ceiling, and spiderwebs everywhere. With a bit of updating and maintenance this home would be amazing and would fit the price being asked. We would definitely stay there again purely for location to everything we needed to access.

The location was great as it was right across the road from the beach and a beach access entrance. It was only minutes away from the supermarket, takeaway places and shops as well as a short drive away from the Bayfair mall - the Bay of Plenty's largest undercover mall that has every shop you can imagine. The lounge is huge and we had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely return in the future.

However the property decor is dated with dodgy ceiling tiles in hallway that look like falling off and and noise from the road/passing vehicles was quite annoying. Plates/cups in pantry dusty. Property manager was well organised & kept in touch. Thankyou

Perfect for little ones, lots of space and very clean. Compact outdoor area with an abundance of apricots from the neighbourâs trees. Perfect spot close to the beach & shops.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
