    “This property has so much potential and is in a great location but unfortunately it’s being really let down by the level of cleanliness and maintenance on the property.”

    We had no power on the lower level for the first night- something the cleaner/Property Manager neglected to inform us about on arrival. The owner met us at the property the next day with an electrician to get this sorted but it would’ve been good to have this fixed the night prior. The owner also looked into the issues with the TV as it wasn’t working so hopefully this will be replaced before the next guests arrive! The property overall needs a very deep clean- we wiped over surfaces ...

The property overall needs a very deep clean- we wiped over surfaces within an hour of arriving (the cleaner only finished cleaning as we checked in!) and were shocked with how dirty they were. More attention should be paid to wiping down everything, dusting blinds, ornaments and window sils. There is no window coverings on both the single and master bedrooms. The master has some blinds but the main window/doors out to deck has none. The single room looks directly onto the construction site, which was filled with workers one morning during our stay! On a positive note, the views are incredible out to Oneroa Bay and the deck and BBQ is great for entertaining. Also, owner is lovely but if I were him, I’d be looking at getting in some new cleaners and putting up window coverings for the bedrooms on the top level as a priority! Also, yes the driveway is steep but manageable to walk up/down slowly and we had a small SUV which got up and down quite easily.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
