Fabulous stay as usual as we visit here at least twice a year excellent facilities and location close to Onetangi beach and restaurants Our dogs love the garden and we know they cannot escape so feel safe and secure arrived 1530 pm Sunday 9/3/25 kitchen door off and missing and damage to corner wall wall opposite fridge also outside umbrella partially damaged where fabric torn holding one spoke letting you know as you should have informed us of this prior to stay also 3 of the 4 bath towels provided had dirty stains on them which is unacceptable and should have been checked and rejected and replaced prior to our stay

It was meticulously clean, very comfortable and lovely and sunny. The layout worked very well even with a second seating area and a good large section for the dog. Close to amenities with a choice of three cafes and a grocery store so close. Short walk to Beach. Would definitely book this house again.

Negative was we didn't have hot water for two days. Property Manager came out but couldn't fix. Managed to have showers the morning we left. Not great for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We were also really looking forward to having a bath. Went to open the kitchen draw for plates and it nearly fell and collapsed on me. Complained to Bachcare about not having water and was told owner would not reimburse us in any way.
- Dana, July 2023Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry about the issues you encountered. Waiheke is unique in that solely uses tank water. In this case, there was a Power outage, which was beyond our control, and subsequently switched off the water pump. The local manager came and fixed the issue and the water was restored, however, the hot water cylinder would have needed time to recover as well. We rectified the hot water issue in a timely manner and compensated for the day there was no hot water. Bachcare

very bad condensation in the mornings underfloor heating was not on when we arrived with no ability to alter timer set in the middle of the night Front door was coming off the top 2 hinges and we had to fix temporarily needs looking at urgently as screws not holding bed very uncomfortable and needs new mattress on a positive note this is our second stay very good location and facilities and perfect for the dogs and access to beach and local amenities. Would stay again but not available after August?
