Paying $300 on top of the holiday accommodation for the cleaning was a lot so we expected to arrive to a lovely clean house!! Sadly, instead we arrived to a house that was very dirty. There were small bits of glass on the upstairs open area, dirty floors with food crumbs, the floors were sticky on our feet, kitchen surfaces not wiped down properly, microwave had not been cleaned inside nor oven, top dishwasher drawer was not working, wifi connection bad - could not watch a movie without it ...

There were small bits of glass on the upstairs open area, dirty floors with food crumbs, the floors were sticky on our feet, kitchen surfaces not wiped down properly, microwave had not been cleaned inside nor oven, top dishwasher drawer was not working, wifi connection bad - could not watch a movie without it pausing every 10 minutes. Bathrooms not cleaned sufficiently with toilet stains around toilet and shower glass not cleaned. Whoever cleaned this before we arrived just tidied it and did as little as possible. Because we were only there 2 nights we ended up cleaning the first night of our arrival, vacuuming and mopping the floors and cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms. I will not be using Bachcare again - paying $300 for the cleaning and $175 for linen was pricey. We understood about the linen (although there was no option to bring our own sheets) and the beds were made nicely but not the cleaning fee - very disappointing indeed. I am awaiting a reply from Bachcare on this service as no care was shown in the upkeep in this holiday home. For 2 nights for 5 adults and one child we paid $1615 and would expect a much higher standard. Disappointing.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
