Steve “Lovely new place that worked well with great cafe next door.”
The bins had not all been cleaned out so stunk the place out, and there was no provision for rubbish (eg external bin, spare rubbish bags) or recycling

Lyn “Lovely house.”
Was an added treat to find that the Farmers Market set up right next door on the Saturday. Not far to get a real coffee. Perfect.
- Lyn, February 2024Denise “Lovely house, fit for purpose, catered for our needs, very relaxing, Coffee Hut next door was an absolute bonus as was the Saturday morning market Owners should be very proud of their property, very clean, neat and Tidy.”
- Denise, January 2024Lilian “A lovely airbnb, wonderful neighbourhood and a coffee shop right next door!”
Would 100% stay again :)

We had a fabulous time with our son, daughter in law and grandchildren, celebrating our son’s 30th , we made wonderful memories , awesome house
- Gillian, October 2023Emily “Great house for our long weekend away with a family of five plus an additional couple.”
A really comfortable house and great location to access the village and surrounding areas. Also right next to a barista! Plenty of seating in the lounge area and on the sunny deck. One bedroom hadn't been made up as requested, but Bachcare had linen dropped off quickly in order for us to rectify. As others have mentioned - could do with a set of kitchen knives. Would have been good to know if we were able to use the surfboards/kayaks/wetsuits that were in the garage (we didn't!).
- Emily, October 2023Lesley “We note others have made the same comments.”
Lack of seating in the living area. Lacking some essentials in the kitchen such as a decent knife and instructions in terms of rubbish would have been useful. But otherwise a great place to stay, we had a great couple of days easy walking distance to town.
- Lesley, July 2023Hayley “Beautiful house, really comfortable bed in the master bedroom (note it is a super king, not a queen as detailed in the ad).”
Loved the warmth of the house with the central heating. The frying pan definitely needs replacing though and an extra couch in the lounge would be beneficial (and there is plenty enough space for it), there wasn’t enough space on the existing couch for 6 adults. There was an ant problem in the kitchen, some fly spray would have been ideal to have in the cupboard, but not a big deal. Overall a great property and we would stay again.
- Hayley, June 2023Elizabeth “Awesome thank you!”
- Elizabeth, June 2023Megan “We enjoyed our stay - thanks!”
But for the price we would expect some basic amenities to be provided (things like cooking oil, kitchen hand soap, body soap in shower).
- Megan, May 2023Carmelina “We had such an awesome stay in your beautiful house.”
So well kept and great amenities.
- Carmelina, May 2023Benita “Fabulous and comfortable property!”
The property manager was flexible on the day of our departure. The property by itself suited our requirements. We did have to call Bachcare when we arrived. Unfortunately there was no information/brochure around the property that gave us basic information around rubbish disposal and the different amenities. Customer Service staff were really professional and friendly when we called them for assistance.
- Benita, February 2023Leon “We loved the house at Rangitahi, unfortunately, there were things that spoiled it for us.”
The property manager popped in to greet us and told us the sewer box needed fixing and that it may beep from time to time, just press the button under the box to stop it. During our 4 night stay the box constantly beeped, it wasn't a soft beep but one that could be heard throughout the whole house at all hours. On numerous occasions, we had to go outside into the rain to reset the button. As paying guests this became very frustrating having to deal with the noise. There were no welcome/ instructions notes about the property. We were unsure what to do with the rubbish, the recycling, how to work the tv, and how to access the WIFI. The main room's bathroom only had one 3/4 roll of toilet paper. Unfortunately the first night we used the frying pan it was dirty and had not been cleaned. I had to call the main office to ask about the beeping sewer box and I mentioned that there were only 2 tea towels and one shower towel each for the four days, I was told this was the standard for a four-day stay. There was a throw rug in the hall cupboard when it was opened out there was a blood stain. It was disappointing that we had spent a lot of money to stay at this property and we had these issues.
- Leon, January 2023Liz “We loved your home!”
It was absolutely perfect for us. Very comfortable and had everything we needed - more esp air-conditioned rooms :-) Very clean when we arrived and good instructions for access. Your Bachcare rep came and checked everything was ok on the Saturday afternoon which was appreciated. Thank you so much for letting us rent it. We had a fabulous time in Raglan - it was a superb location, lovely views, clean, and just all over a fantastic stay!
