About the location

Whangamata is a favourite holiday destination in the Coromandel. It has one of the best surf breaks in the area, as well as having safe enough swimming for families. Behind the well-equipped town is a large forest park, with walking tracks and biking trails through lush native forest. All of our Whangamata holiday homes are pre-inspected prior to your arrival and are ready for instant online booking.

    “The outside area is the best asset, loved this, shower was awesome but the outside shower in sleepout had no hot water which was disappointing, the bedrooms are advertised as double bedrooms, but the size of the rooms are incredibly small, which isn’t really a concern if you are away on holiday and just sleep in there, but it’s worth mentioning.”

    the bunk mattresses and mattress in second room need updating to provide more comfort for guests, only one bed had a really nice matress, the pillows provided were low quality, I would definitely recommend taking your own pillows and extra blankets in winter although linen is included, for the price paid I this the beds and pillows good be higher quality in all honestly to provide a more comfortable stay for guests .Kitchen was fine lots of plates cutlery glasses which was great. We’re sorry the sleepout shower’s hot water was not turned on (there is an HWC with great capacity right behind the shower), and some bedding comfort affected your stay. The owner is currently satisfied with the bedding setup, and no recurring concerns have been raised, so there are no plans for changes at this stage.
