“We had such a lovely Mother’s Day weekend my partner , my 3yrs old son and I.”

It was just perfect!! Even nicer in real than the photos. I have to say the bbq needs a decent clean it’s all mouldy but it’s fixable…luckily we had planned something else. And next time we’ll bring mosquitoes repellent cause we woke up with a few bites which is not the fault of the owner it’s just nature . We will definitely gonna book this batch again and we’ll be prepare for that! Overall, everything we needed was there, very comfortable beds and a beautiful view of the lion ...

“House would have been nice to stay in with great views.”

There are some cobwebs but reasonably clean. We had power outages over 2 days which meant the electric pump did not work which means no water, showers or toilet. We had to leave the area and returned home on the second day. For this disruption we were refunded a $100 per day by Bachcare with very little communication for about a week. Overall disappointed with the outcome.

“To be completely honest the house itself was beautiful and the view!”

But the cleanness of it was very disappointing, spider webs everywhere! In the rooms bathrooms&etc… was very disappointed about not getting told that we can’t drink the water as we have travelled 2 hour drive from where we stay we could’ve packed extra water and whatnot but as we didn’t no we couldn’t drink the tap water.. and as for the bbq was very unhygienic it was dirty! Had left over grease or wateva was cooked in it and was left like that, we had to take everything out and give it a wash. but other than that it was a beautiful stay!

On the water restriction, Perfectly Piha is on tank water, so we ask our guests to keep in mind the property's supplies however the tap water is definitely available for use. During your stay, we were made aware of excessive noise and a report of a party, which would be in breach of our terms and conditions in which we ask guests to respect neighbouring properties. “A wonderful and peaceful bach - the perfect place to relax.”

Really enjoyed the lack of TV. In future, a beanbag/outdoor cushion would be awesome to add but not a necessity. The driveway was interesting to park on - didn't take the car all the way down, but there was always an option to park on the road.

“Really enjoyed our winter stay.”

Beautiful views, lovely house, modern, bright and added bonus of being allowed our dog. Summer stay would be perfect with the large safe deck. Had an issue with power outage for several hours so no water etc as pump stopped but was an area issue due to storm. Otherwise perfect :) Thank you.

Having to stand in the rain for 20 mins because we had been sent the wrong keylock code is just not acceptable. Basics people - you can't even get those right!
