    “This property is all about the location - you can't get any better for PIHA - patio deck is awesome, view of Lion Rock iconic.”

    Some issues that impacted our stay - TV not working, main bed not made properly nor cleaned under, despite a hefty cleaning fee. Bunks are not suitable for any person over 5'5" tall - kids bunks really. Patio umbrella is broken and not useable without some mcgyvering. It is a typical Kiwi bach, ad hoc renovations over the years. Kitchen is impractical, no counter space., although it was well stocked with utensils, glasses and plates etc. We prep'd on the main dining table which has a stainless ...

The path from the road is just sand, fairly steep and can be difficult carrying luggage etc. 15 min walk to North Piha beach and surf club. Be aware, with the linen fees, cleaning fees and admin fees, the nightly rate doubles.

We are addressing the issues of the TV and Umbrella not working properly with the owner and hope to have a fix soon. We do feel the photos of the property accurately portray the size of the bunk beds, and it is also mentioned on the listing that they are more suited for children. Again, thank you for the feedback. Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The beachside spot means there's a walking trail to the beach within 100 metres of the property. When it’s time for a meal out, head 9 minutes on foot to Piha Café or the RSA and Lion Rock Restaurant for some of the best local fare and beverages. Please be aware access to the property is slightly steep and may be slippery in wet weather

As the deck barrier is below one metre high guests should take care in this area due to the risk of falls.

There is a trampoline in the garden but as there are no safety mats, all guests should take care if using this and only allow one person on the trampoline at a time.

Please note the water is not suitable for drinking due to a high mineral content. Until North Piha Water Society resolve treatment of the water, bottled/boiled water should be used for drinking.
