The property

This stunning, brand-new holiday accommodation has impeccable views and makes for a lovely place to get away from it all. Welcome to your Waterfront Retreat in Westport. Indoors, the open-plan kitchen and dining room are cosy and light-filled, perfect for a couple to getaway. Outdoors, the view from the deck is incredible, a mere stone's-throw from the water. The single bedroom with fresh decor is filled with sunlight and is certainly a stunner. Grab your fluffy bathrobe and head into the ensuite for a nice hot shower after your dip in the ocean. Located just east of Westport, you're a four-minute drive to the town centre. Here you will find a range of cafes, shops and supermarkets. Make sure to check out the Coaltown Museum documenting Westport's long and storied history. You're only 20 minutes drive from Cape Foulwind and the Tauranga Seal Colony. If you're feeling adventurous, the Old Ghost Road is less than an hour's drive away, with biking and hiking trails for any traveller, but be warned - crossing it is no mean feat! About the location

Westport is the self proclaimed adventure capital of the West Coast, and has a rich history of gold mining. The Westport Museum charts this history, and also has a imitation underground mine. Visitors can enjoy mine and brewery tours, fishing, surfing, mountain bike tours, or foraging for semi precious stones at any of the local beaches. For adventure lovers, there is jet boating, white and black water rafting, adventure caving, argo tours, white water rafting and jet skiing available.
