“On arrival our first impression of the apartment was we all thought it looked lovely.”
The view of the ocean and the overall size of the living area and bedrooms were great.
Unfortunately it was spoiled due to the lack of cleanliness as follows:
- The windows were dirty as was the glass balustrade on the deck
- The large mirror in the living area was dirty
- The plants looked -sad and need some love and attention
- The main bathroom had hair in the sink, all over the floor and shower plus the fan didn’t work, obviously not vacuumed or cleaned.
- No hand soap or very little in both bathrooms
- The mattress in the main bedroom was overly soft and uncomfortable, obviously cheap
- The toilet brush in the ensuite was disgusting, the toilet seat cracked in 2 places
- The kitchen bin had rubbish in it and both bins and the drawer were dirty plus no replacement bin liner
- The dishwasher was grubby
- Kitchen drawers need cleaning
- The washing machine looked dirty so we wouldn’t use it
This was our first break away from home in many months. We took my sister and brother-in-law with us and paid their share of the accommodation so were doubly embarrassed how dirty the apartment was.
I would be grateful if you could you pass on this information to the owner(s)/cleaner for the future comfort of holiday guests using the apartment.
This is the first time my husband and I have used Bachcare for a holiday so hopefully this was a one-off bad accommodation experience.
