Large doors open onto a generous deck featuring outdoor seating, your own private swimming pool with a view, and an adjacent wood burning BBQ. It's the perfect spot for slow mornings, sunset evenings, and everything in between. Inside, you’ll find a modern kitchen equipped with all the essentials, plus a coffee machine and dishwasher. Fast WiFi and a Smart TV offer plenty of entertainment options, complemented by books and board games for when you’re ready to unwind. Ideal for families or groups, Hihi O Te Rā features three comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms. Launch a kayak from the water’s edge at the bottom of the driveway (best within two hours either side of high tide), or head to the Ohiwa Boat Ramp for excellent access to the harbour and local fishing spots. The beach, surf club, and bike trails are all within easy reach. Cycle toward the Waiotahe Estuary or Ōpōtiki to connect with the renowned Motu Trails. Golfers will love having Ōpōtiki Golf Club ten minutes away. With Ōpōtiki just 10 minutes’ drive and Whakatāne only 30 minutes from the property, Hihi O Te Rā - “Sunbeam” - offers the perfect base for your next Bay of Plenty escape.

As this is a rural property, there are several areas with drop-offs and a pond at the edge of the property. Adults should closely supervise young children at all times when outdoors to ensure their safety.
No detergent or soap in the spa: If any cleaning products, soaps, or detergents are added to the spa, a $200 cleaning fee will be charged to cover the required servicing.
