We booked this property for a two week stay after closely viewing the pics provided. The photos, whilst being a true representation of the property, do not show clearly the tired and worn nature of the property once it is viewed in person. I accept that it is hard to see this kind of thing in pics, but the high nightly rate would lead one to believe that the property was in superior condition. It is not - we found distressed sofas, old stained carpet rugs, unsafe powerpoints etc. In fact, we provided bachcare with a list of 25+ faults which required remedy. Our grievances and concerns for how much we were paying were dealt with in a professional manner by Bachcare to our satisfaction. If the price reflected the condition from the outset then I would recommend this property for its character, superior location and ease of access. We also found the bed linen to be of a very high quality. At a fair price we would definitely consider staying at the property in the future.
Hi Brent! Thank you for your review and we're glad to hear that you enjoyed this property's charming character and its handy location! We're sorry about the issues you encountered and are glad to hear you were satisfied with the way we dealt with them as soon as you raised them at the beginning of your stay. We're pleased to let you know that many of the improvements you pointed out had been discussed with the owner not long before your stay and were scheduled to be addressed shortly after. These are now underway to ensure guests can continue to enjoy this happy place. We do hope to see you again in the future!
