“This is our first time staying at this house and we all loved it.”
Very sunny, modern and beds very comfortable - which was a huge bonus. Great we could take our 2 small dogs and backyard lovely - although not fully fenced. I would have to say the $260 we paid for the cleaning fee is ridiculously over priced and feel this really needs to be reduced considering Hanmer Holiday Homes only charge about $160 or $170 in comparison! Also, we like taking our own linen and towels etc and don't want to be forced into paying alot of extra money by Bachcare (or the owner) ...

I was disappointed with the cleaning fee charge of $290. I feel this is excessive and would make me reconsider booking again. I feel $120 would be appropriate. I have stayed in alot of holiday homes and have never paid such a high cleaning fee.

We got it May last year too. It was the only house with 3 double beds for 3 couples. Everyone loved it last year so we got it this year, and will get it again. Plenty of room for six people to lounge around. the layout is very well designed.

Modern spot with pretty much everything youâd need. Super sunny and warm. Loved the shower in the ensuite (canât comment on the main bathroom). Short walk to town with an easy gradient so worked well for us. We stayed as two couples with two kids 3,8 and under 2. Snug rooms with portacots and luggage but definitely made it work. Sandflies weâre a small annoyance so donât forget your bug spray like we did haha! Would definitely book again :)

The house was clean well equipped with what we needed, beds were super comfortable. The wood was a little bit damp, but we still managed to keep warm thankfully which was good considering it snowed on our last night there. The township was close so we didn't have to drive far to the shops and activities we wanted to do. I would definately come back and stay again and would most certainly recommend to others. A spa on the deck would have been nice as an added extra, specially being in it when it snowed. Maybe next time.

It is compact and yet can still accommodate several people if needed. There were a few things either missing or needing repair. Missing - pot scrub, oven mits, dish cloth [all necessary items in our opinion]. Needing repair - ensuite shower head [not fitting correctly so most of the water was spraying out the back], sliding doors to master bedroom not moving smoothly or meeting squarely, large kitchen knives not sharp. Despite Bachcare advising that all 3 beds would be made up upon our arrival, only 2 were ready [not ideal when arriving in the dark and it is raining!].

The house needed a good deep clean. We even wiped our own skirting. A few more tea towels. Towels and dish cloths would have been nice. It was hard to get washing dry being winter. We were very frugal as little firewood. Also sliding bedroom doors broken on our arrival so would not fully close. All little things loved your property. Thankyou

Three double beds which seems to be hard to find. Everyone had their own space. House has an excellent layout. There is a gate at the back of the section that takes you into town. All of us that stayed here will stay here again, we all use holiday homes a lot
