With your home being so close to the pools and town it was easy for all of us to walk to wherever we went. We were very pleased to find the home as listed regarding bedroom configuration as we had 4 generations staying and everyone had plenty of privacy. It was great to be able to spread out in the large living area, the log fire was much appreciated. We will definitely book this home again.

The plug hole in the bathroom with the shower over the bath is very slow to drain and possibly blocked up. Otherwise the house was amazing in terms of location to town, warmth and layout. An excellent option for a holiday with 2 families. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

It was great for the kids with the massive fenced yard and the bedrooms were all a good size. We were also very pleased to have the log burner as the power went out for the day whole we were there. A couple of maintenance issues need to be addressed though, the oven doesn't stay properly closed, one of the cupboards was falling off a bit and the tap in the kitchen didn't stop dripping. With those tweaks it would have been perfect. We would stay there again.

The oven door did not shut properly & the dishwasher did not work adequately until we cleaned the filter. In the shared bathroom the water was very slow to drain from the bath/shower so the drain may need attention. When we tried to contact the provided phone number to report these issues, we were unable to get a response.

We felt very relaxed and happy there which is what you want on holiday. The only strange thing was not having a door on the en suite bathroom. Great showers (bathmat or extra towel required) and comfy beds. Would highly recommend and definitely book again in the future. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

A pity the bed in the master bedroom looks pretty but is pretty hard. Some slats under the mattress are coming out. Ensuite not well designed. Needs a door to keep in noise and smell, and small step up to the ensuite deceptive and conducive to toe-stubbing. Kitchen and lounge great and nicely kitted out. Lawn spacious and lots of outside chairs and tables. But disappointed when we found the blue hanging chair shown in the images in the shed rather than hanging up. Garden has had a big clear out and all the lovely trees shown in the front of the property have gone, so hardly any privacy from the road. The fence is not dog-proof, especially if the dog is small or medium size. Some slats missing in fence and wire fence not secure. Very large dog turd on lawn. Overall, enjoyed ourselves, but perhaps the images for this property need updating.

The only improvements I would recommend is the beds need updating and so does the oven. The property has everything you would need. Outdoor space was good. But lawns needed to be mowed.

Nicola “Property much improved with removing trees etc but very muddy with kids outside where no grass has been grown = mud inside.”
En-suite shower doesn’t have enough fall in floor, water gets all over the bathroom and is very slippery. No point in using bath mat as gets saturated. Needs a glass door or lip. Great house and property however and we really enjoyed the layout and how close it is to town. Great for families

Great for the kids and in-laws. We want to come back next time. Several minor maintenance issues, like light bulbs not working, some power points not working, sinks in bathrooms backing up. Was lovely walking into a warm house on a cold day upon arrival.

A bit damp in the rear bedroom but the dehumidifier definitely helped. It didn't get cold enough to warrant getting the fire going, but would make for a cozy winter getaway. Lighting was a bit dim in the living space for board games and reading (a few missing bulbs as well). Location was brilliant - 5 minute walk to supermarket, cafes and pools. And biking/walking tracks 2 minutes in the other direction.

The common area is open, functional and spacious. There is a variety of room choice. The only limiting factor is the second bathroom is an en suite with no door so bathroom use has to be managed.

..it is a large home with heaps of space and is so easy to warm up with a log fire, 2x heatpumps and a night store (not that we needed to use all of these) it is well fenced for both young children and pets... it is in walking distance to everything that you would want to do while staying in Hanmer Springs... ie hot pools, shopping, restaurants, mini golf etc... we would certainly try to book this property again if or when we returned to Hanmer Springs as a group.

The house was warm on arrival with heat pumps going. The managers were wonderful in their communication and super awesome at replacing the gas bottle for the bbq too. The home was a great size, comfy beds, awesome shower, the fire was a beast! We did need to clean the air filters after finding the heatpump in the hall not operating so effectively. Plenty of firewood. Overall it was a wonderful stay. A place we wouldnt hesitate to revisit. Next time we will take our dog.

We had two families staying and enough room we weren’t on top of each other. Section was huge and well locked after. With two heat pumps and a fire the house was super toasty with negative temps outside. So close to everything so quick walk to pools and bars.

However despite the wonderful garden and lots of space, the house itself is tired and needs a lot of repairs and love. Lights blown, fridge shelf missing, washing machine does not work, dirty bbq, front door handle fell off, dish drawer needs new handle, shower in main bathroom is difficult to turn on. Aside from all the repairs and love it needs, it was a great location and we had a fab weekend. Our property manager looked after well.
