The only thing that could be improved would be the condition of some of the pots and pans and maybe upgrade to a 4 slice toaster instead of 2. Other than that the beds were lovely and comfy and we had a really nice stay.

We had four wet days in Hanmer and your place was great for our group to spread out. Overall, we had a brilliant time and I would recommend your house for other family groups. The location is convenient, beautiful and quiet. We ended up being five instead of the eight that I booked for, and the sofas and easy chair were enough for us. But, there wouldn't have been enough seating if our full group of eight had been there. On our first evening, we sat at the outdoor table and both my daughter and I picked up splinters in our arms. Perhaps the paint had worn off the fibreglass? The kitchen was great and we would have baked if there had been some cookie sheets or a slice/cake tin in the kitchen. Would you consider putting some baking equipment in there for others?

Lots of natural light. Beautiful views from the lounge and bedrooms. So warm and cosy. Plenty of room outside for kids to play. I would stay here again. This is the best holiday home in Hanmer Springs I have rented so far and I have stayed in a few. The booking system is easy and efficient.

We loved watching our toddler run around on the lawn from the comfort of the outdoor sofa knowing the fully fenced section kept him in place. The walkway close by to the Chatterton River was a hit as well to wander down and throw stones in the water. WiFi and Netflix kept the kids entertained on a rainy morning. We did have some reservations with the suitability of features advertised as provided for babies but have given feedback based on this.

We also really enjoyed the location on the "outskirts" of Hanmer. Close enough to wander into town, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet, and superb alpine views from the deck. We loved our stay, the perfect base for our Mountain Biking adventures.
