Linen

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.

The property

A comfortable, bright and charming 3-bedroom holiday home, decorated to create a calming and homely atmosphere, you'll feel settled in and relaxed from the minute you arrive - Welcome to Leave of Absence! Equipped with some of those holiday must-haves including Fibre WiFi to keep you connected and a Nespresso machine to help you start each day with air-conditioning for summer stays and a heat pump to keep you warm in winter. Glass doors in the lounge open onto the sheltered patio, garden and dedicated outdoor dining and BBQ area. Enjoy the downtime in the great outdoor area with fruit trees, a herb garden and a waterfall or head out to explore the local activities, you're an easy 7-minute drive from the airport and the Avonhead Mall. Within 20mins drive is Hagley Park and Christchurch Botanic Gardens, both known for being a beautiful place to walk or cycle through. The Banks Peninsula, is just over an hours drive, for a day of dolphin watching. A delightful Christchurch escape awaits at Leave of Absense!

About the location

Known as the Garden City of New Zealand, Christchurch is the largest city in the South Island. Historic buildings fill the streets and the tranquil Avon River runs through its centre, making for great picnic spots along the willow-lined riverbanks. Visitor attractions include the Botanical Gardens, the International Antarctic centre, the Christchurch Art Gallery and the Christchurch Gondola.
