Stayed December 2019A lovely, historic home with great views overlooking Lyttelton harbour. Superb location in terms of walking into Lyttelton (grocery store, cafes, Saturday market so close), and an affordable public pool a few minutes walk away (great for kids and adults alike). If you're into minimalism and prefer newer homes, this isn't the place for you. If you like characterful, historic homes, loaded with personal and interesting collectibles, then Seaside Cottage is a good choice.

Stayed December 2019We had a great 2 night stay at Seaside Cottage. The interior, light fittings and furnishings are quite unique and really cool! The home had everything we required to make a nice meal from produce we sourced at the Lyttelton markets. Stunning view of the port and Lyttelton from front door and garden. Loved all the different places to relax and read a book. Highly recommend this home for a Lyttelton break with friends and family. Vanessa from Bachcare was great, answering my queries, etc. we will definitely return.

Stayed November 2019The seaside cottage is deceptively large, loads of room and seating in different areas, including in the greenhouse which my friend loved when she visited for a coffee. It has many stylish items all around the home. The beds were comfortable with clean bedding and it was nice and clean. Breakfast outside every morning overlooking Lyttelton was so nice.
