The place was great. Booked it as my son was getting married and needed some where to stay for family and friends. Great place for three families or couples. Would recommend as a great place to stay. Close to shops and beach. If down that way again with family or friends would book again.

It's a beautiful location and the house was great for our group of 12.

Highly recommend this place. Have stayed here twice now with different extended family groups and has worked perfectly both times. Especially good having the separate but connected cottage or annex so that the grandparents were able to have own space away from loud grandchildren. Responsive manager for the few things we needed. Even helped us rescue the rubbish from the seagulls. Looking forward to our next visit.

We visited as 3 separate family's totaling 6 adults & 4 children ages 10 to 6 coming from New Zealand, Canada & Australia and had an absolute blast of a reunion!! Although the accommodation requires some attention, its flows superbly, allowing each family the space for privacy, while at the same time allowing the essential communal activities which all families share when together - eat, drink , laugh & play. The beach was 200 metres away, the shops over the road and the weather close to perfect. Good Times (Beaujolais) certainly lived up to its promise.

Not very private your next to the shops and have no fence, we had a lady who was taking photos through the trees she said it was her old home.

Great house - accommodated all our extended family of adults, young children and honeymooners. Great location - easy walk to beach, and short drive to other interesting places. i would recommend Beaujolais to potential renters.

This is a very, very large house steps from the amazing pink beach of Hahei and walking distance to the trail to Cathedral Cove. It is beautiful and well appointed, although somewhat "dated" in some aspects. I wish there was a dishwasher (we ended up buying paper plates and we didn't use the kitchen as much!), and the washer/ dryer proved a bit too challenging to use (it is in the garage instead of in the main house), so we avoided that. But the TVs are top of the line, you can walk to places for coffee/ lunch/ dinner and you feel like you can park the car and don't take it out for the whole time you are there!
Hi Vanessa, glad to hear you had a great stay in Hahei. Due to water restrictions it is quite common for holiday houses in rural towns not to have dishwashers. Having the laundry in the garage is quite common in Kiwi houses, and your local Bachcare holiday manager is always available if unsure on how to use that or any appliance in the property. We hope to see you again soon!

Very close to shops and cafes. Can walk to beach (no beach view). Place was a little dark and maybe a bit basic for the price. A batch with plenty of room but no wow factor.

Fantastic location and very nice, spacious house with everything you need. Really needs a dishwasher though!
