“This place was absolutely disgusting.”
It had an ant infestation problem and nails/carpet tacks sticking out of the carpet! We booked this place for a family holiday with 2 toddlers and an infant, as it was advertised as "an ideal family option", but is clearly not. There were ants everywhere including the bathrooms, toilet seats, beds and crawled on us too. Quote from one of the mothers after our first night "I was breast feeding in the middle of the night, and there were ants crawling on my arm and I just wanted to throw up". There were carpet nails/tacks sticking out of the carpet, and had been covered by duct tape, an obvious health and safety issue, especially with the little ones. We complained to Bach Care in a number of phone calls and sent through photos and videos of the ants, the nails etc. The property manager refused to come out to the property, or even communicate directly with us, and claimed there were no nails sticking out of the carpet even though we have provided photos clearly showing this. The fact it was covered by duct tape indicates they new about this! We booked this accommodation for 7 nights, but only stayed for 2 as they weren't able to remedy any solutions for the ants or nails.
