It was clean and well set up for kids and it was very close to the beach. The only disappointment was that the spa was not working and we tried to make contact with the owner via the phone number however we could not get through. We will definitely be booking again

Great layout .Very clean, comfortable beds and with lots of amities in the kitchen. Spa with warm water and plenty of wood for the fireplace. We had a great time there and happy to get back. The down side is the instructions are poor, example: it took ages to figure out how to turn on the WiFi ( the power plug us in the other room).We couldn't use the TV and the audio system.We txt twice to Peter ( in the instructions says contact him if there is any problem) for help with it but he didn't reply

The addition of the spa pool was a hit with the kids. Love the location everything was so close to walk to, a lovely private spot with beautiful views. We had such a wonderful stay here and will definitely be back.

The property is LOVELY, and the hot tub is a must, nice and big. The house is bigger than expected and comes with heaps of stuff in the kitchen and pantry which is great. SO close to the beach for sunsets. There were couple of things that were a bit tired given the price but did not affect the stay. Fairly private, you do get people walking past the back of the property on the way to the beach.

It's in an excellent location - the walk to the beach is only a few minutes and it's really nice, walking along a stream and over a bridge... picturesque. The house was warm, gets lots of sun and was well equipped. Thanks!

Great open plan living area & the perfect spot to enjoy during summer or winter. However level of cleanliness really did let the property down, and we were disappointed the spa was not ready for us on our arrival.

We had a lovely stay. The beach was so close by, the fenced section perfect for the little ones and the spa pool an awesome bonus for rainy days. Awesome layout, perfect with toys for the littlies and wifi/tv/speakers for the big kids. We will be back. Loved it!

Just over 2 hours from Auckland, Pauanui is one of the most popular holiday towns in the Coromandel. Pauanui enjoys white sand beaches with a surf life saving club and a number of walking tracks including the Mount Pauanui summit track, which will give you stunning views of the coastline and out to the Mercury Islands.
