“Pattons place has everything you need and is a like a second home.”
The beds are comfortable and our children were thrilled with the Lego and books etc. The use of the toys/bikes in the garage was a lovely surprise and we took good use of the beach trolley. Itâs a short walk to the beach. We loved the location. Thank you for sharing Pattons place with us. We had one issue that was unforeseeable and out of the hosts control and found Bach Care really great to deal with.

Plenty of room for everyone. Less than five minutes walk to the most beautiful beach ! Enjoyed the bikes that were provided, also just five minute drive to little shops and restaurants. we would definitely come back here again. Thanks so much for sharing your house with us.

It was such a lovely place to stay and we would highly recommend it to all. I want to give it a negative feedback because I donât want people to know how cool this place is but I canât so believe me in saying itâs a wonderful place near the beach and shops. I highly recommend. The chocolates and the bubbles on arrival was such a wonderful little treat as well.

Everyone could be together while also having room to breathe. The kitchen was stocked well full of items we needed and the host family was generous to allow the use of extras such as stateboards. The large table is perfect for a lovely family dinner. We are already looking in to future dates that we can book, and will absolutely stay again. Thank you for allowing your beautiful home to be used by others, I can't say enough what a wonderful time we had.

There was plenty of space for everyone and lots of equipment and games. It was fantastic having two bathrooms. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom are only accessible from outside, this was fantastic for teenagers but may not be ideal if you have younger children, however there is plenty of space upstairs with two king beds (which can be split to singles) and a set of bunks.

Easy walk to beach, shops, tennis courts and golf courses. It has a lovely comfy feel about it, and the back deck is a perfect place to relax on after a day of biking, running, walking, swimming at the beach, or whatever activity you have done.:) We have stayed here twice over January and are doing so again 2023:)

Close to beach and shops. Very good that we got to use the smart tv as it kept everyone entertained, from the 2year old with kiddies programs to the adults. Well equipped kitchen.

We enjoyed being close to the beach, having a choice of swimming in the estuary or in the waves on the main beach and the wonderfully planned layout of Pauanui for cycling and exploring the pathways linking the green communal areas. The house itself was well equipped and had a great layout and we appreciated being able to bring the family dog along. She was happy to stay outside in the fully fenced garden which has plenty of shade.

Just over 2 hours from Auckland, Pauanui is one of the most popular holiday towns in the Coromandel. Pauanui enjoys white sand beaches with a surf life saving club and a number of walking tracks including the Mount Pauanui summit track, which will give you stunning views of the coastline and out to the Mercury Islands.
