Madeline “This was such a lovely place to stay, absolutely amazing location just a short walk across to the beach and park!”
Very clean and tidy and kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. This property isn’t fully fenced on one side and as we had two young toddlers running around we had to always ensure we were very aware of that but we knew that going there, would still absolutely recommend just something to be aware of for others with young children!

Comms from bachcare could do with some improvement, particularly with email response time. Changes to bookings seem to be quite difficult, and potentially expensive..

.. perfectly positioned across from the water and only a 3 minute walk to the beach. Well equipped kitchen, comfy sofas, and beds, and a sun-kissed deck for enjoying a couple of g&t's after beach time. We will definitely be back.

About the location
Whangamata is a favourite holiday destination in the Coromandel. It has one of the best surf breaks in the area, as well as having safe enough swimming for families. Behind the well-equipped town is a large forest park, with walking tracks and biking trails through lush native forest.
