“Lovely rustic Bach as advertised.”
Suited our family group perfectly. One toilet was leaking badly and after a call to Bachcare was fixed within a few hours, excellent service. Outdoor area fabulous.

Walking distance to shops. The house appearance looked a little tired and lacked up-to-date amenities but was priced accordingly and suited us well. Toilet with bath doesn't work properly even after Plumber had been as the buttons get stuck which was annoying

It's a suburb location - 3 min walk to the main street and 5 mins to the beach. We're a group of fishing buddies ( huge shout out to Ryan at Churchy's Charters) who must have stayed here at least 6/7 times for 3 night stays. Fantastic outdoor covered deck area and BBQ ( don't think we've ever eaten inside), large fenced back lawn and mature trees and plantings great for kids. The back sleep out (double/2 x single and 1 bunk bed in three small separate areas) is "rustic" at best but does give some very flexible bedding options for a large group or extended families.

Perfect spot over the new year period to spend with friends. The house had a lot of character with a big lawn and plenty of rooms, yet the house itself requires some minor attention. Regardless we enjoyed our stay and would stay again

The age of the house gave it a great homely and relaxing feel, while the location so near town within walking distance was fantastic. Would come back and stay again and would be perfect for a large or multiple families due to the large amount of beds / space.

The set up in the kitchen is amazing and really appreciated! It was so nice to have 'everything' you could possibly need! The well maintained garden creates a lovely setting for a bbq. Great location with a very short walk to various takeaways, shops and supermarkets. Thanks, we had a fabulous weekend!

The backyard is peaceful and the deck provides a nice, covered outdoor space. It is an easy walk to the main street and Buffalo Beach. The house is older and has lots of character (and a few little quirks), which suited us perfectly. The house manager was friendly and helpful.

After a washout of a day on Christmas Day the weather gods delivered and the Bach served as a great central point to use as base for our holiday. Excellent location, close to all that you need for a typical kiwi Bach holiday and ample space to host extended family. The kids loved the sleep out but bring your repellent - the mozzies do bite!

The main house has been pleasantly updated - the covered in back deck with BBQ is great, the location is perfect being a 2 min walk to the main shopping street -but far enough away to keep any noise from local bars and restaurants away. There is a great big backyard. The sleep out is best described as "rustic" with uneven floors and low ceiling, two very small bedrooms, one with 2 x singles and 1 x double and single bunk beds off the one "main" one however it offers extremely versatile bedding configuration and is still very clean and tidy. This will have been our fourth stay here and we'll be back again

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
Haven on Hannan is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom, plus sleepout, Whitianga holiday home. With great outdoor living, Wifi, central location, and room for up to 12 guests, this Whitianga holiday home is an ideal base for an extended family beach getaway! This Whitianga holiday home includes a cosy lounge area in the main house. The open plan kitchen and dining area leads outdoors where you can set yourself up in the sun with the BBQ on hand. Plus, the fully fenced and private garden is a great spot for the kids to play! Each of the bedrooms in the main house at this Whitianga accommodation is located off the hallway, and each is fitted with a queen bed. The sleep-out provides an additional 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 opens out to the garden, and is fitted with a queen bed. Bedroom 2 is fitted with 2 single beds, and bedroom 3 is fitted with a single bunk set. This is a great set up for an extended family group, or 2 families holidaying together! There are 2 bathrooms situated in the main house at Haven on Hannan, with the sleepout having direct access to bathroom 1. When you are not relaxing on the deck, head to the beach or wander to the shops just a short walk away! Everything you need for an easy, laid back beach stay awaits...
