The beds very comfy and we loved the conservatory looking out onto a very nice garden and sheltered outdoor table and chairs. The loction was great with about 5 mins walk to the centre. We would happily stay here again!

Very good location for Amenities in Te Anau. Walking distance to everything in town and of course the lake. It was wonderful to watch the New Years Eve fireworks from the garden.

Our Bachcare manager was very friendly and obliging. We had a major problem with the shower which was sorted out by the plumber very efficiently and quickly. Considering it was Christmas Eve, we thought this was great service! The location is very quiet and we would be happy to stay there again.

Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. We’ll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
The property
Copper Trout Cottage is a classic kiwi bach close to the lake's edge and town centre in Te Anau. This laidback 3-bedroom holiday home has an alpine feel with its timber ceiling and panelling and beautiful statement schist fireplace. Relax here in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine in cooler months, enjoying the stunning mountain views. The wonderful indoor-outdoor flow continues with the lounge opening into a cosy conservatory, which in turn opens out onto a private courtyard and lawn, ideal for BBQs and outside dining.
