“We rented the Lake house for 4 nights with a group of 10 and did walks with Trips and Tramps in the area.”
It was a massive hit with everyone and really contributed to it being a great holiday. The position is stunning, the facilities were great and we were fortunate with beautiful weather. We hired a car so we could get into town to shop etc. The isolation on the edge of town was a bit part of the appeal. The changing landscape and water views were incredible. The only item that needs attention is the bath plug ! Couldn't get it to stop letting water through and therefore the post hike soak with ...

Other feedback was that towels to use for lake swim/spa use would be fantastic.

We were a mature group of 10 adults and we had a great time together. Lovely setting, and fabulous indoor and outdoor areas to gather as a group. Superb with 3 bathrooms.

Such a massive space with all the facilities you need, the spa was the extra icing on the cake. We all loved our stay! Only thing I would say was that the cleaners waiting outside for an hour or so before we had to leave was a wee bit annoying but otherwise a good stay!

In regards to check out, the property Manager (local) walks her dogs locally so this is why her car was present but we would never move a guest on until check out time of 10 am. On this occasion she just happened to be parked close by so sorry for any confusion this may have caused on checkout. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the deck, staring at the magical view, appreciating the silence. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the bedrooms were really comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Make sure you let Bachcare know in advance if you want to check in early - we arrived an hour early (we didn't know what time we would arrive as we were travelling from Queenstown by car), and the property manager wouldn't (couldn't?) give us early access.

Modern, relaxing space that was better than expected!

Just a couple of comments - Some luggage racks in bedrooms and clothes hooks on back of doors for bedrooms without wardrobes would be great. Thankfully we did not use Spa Pool first night. A man came around first morning to drain Spa Pool as it evidently had "glass" in it. A note left inside on table to be read upon arrival of this fact would have been good. As it turned out no one got cut feet.

Really comfortable house with everything we needed. It worked out really well even with a group of 12 adults it still felt like we had enough space. Couldn't ask for a better view, i could definitely have spent all day just sitting on the couch or in the spa enjoying the views of the mountains across the lake. It was also a great house for exercise...being the furthest house from town in the entire development!! If you had a couple of bikes at the property it would be absolutely amazing

The main lounge/kitchen area was great and we loved that there wasn’t a TV in that section. The views were also way more spectacular than we expected - maybe some more photos of that in the listing?! We would have liked to have seen a coffee machine (nespresso or equivalent) but otherwise found the house/kitchen very well stocked and loved our time there.

We were a large group and it was wonderful to have so much space indoors and out, and especially such a well-equipped kitchen to cater for all of us. The spa was a lovely bonus, and the view of the lake and mountains with direct access to the lakeside walking track were just great. We hope to be back again.

The house is first class with plenty of bedrooms for different sleeping arrangements. Very warm interior with spaces to escape if needed. There is a huge outdoor space and a spa pool to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Highly recommended!

Very new and modern with everything you could possibly need and more to make your stay as hassle free as possible. The rooms are large and airy and beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is modern with dishwasher, double oven and scullery to hide the mess away. Heating is also very good and the views amazing!! We had a group of 10 of us staying and the house was well equipped to cope with so many. The spa outside is a great touch too. Thanks :-)

The views of the lake and mountains from the main living area and bedrooms are superb. Te Anau itself is an interesting place and is a great base to explore the region.
