Because of this we were quite meticulous with our cleaning and even took before and after pictures to stop the extra charge I saw many people receive. I haven't heard back or been charged extra for any cleaning and it has been a week. Based on my experience alone I can say we weren't unfairly charged, though we were extra cautious. The house itself was slightly more modern than we expected and was in a great location. Only thing is we stayed on a very hot weekend and upstairs heated up a lot!

It is very dated in its decor (wine coloured carpets and avocado colour bathroom) but all this adds to its charm. It was extremely clean, the sofas are extremely comfortable, the bed very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped. It is in the heart of Te Anau; nothing is far away - the lake, restaurants, shops... There are two sets of stairs so if you have mobility issues then perhaps this is not the property for you. We loved the Italian restaurant on the corner (about 100m away). We did the day Doubtful Sound trip which left from Manapouri, a short twenty minute drive away, so very convenient for that. All in all a very pleasant three days were spent here and we would definitely stay here again.

Linen
Our linen service will provide all sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, and tea towels for your stay. Weâll also make up the beds for you prior to arrival and strip them down after your departure. Pillows and duvets are provided at the property.
