Stayed December 2021The property is in a wonderful quiet location. It is accessible to the water, however if your stay is not within the right tide time, you will be disappointed with not having a swim. It was not a problem with our stay. Plenty of games to play so children definitely got their detox of the internet.

Stayed February 2021A lovely traditional, comfortable bach right on the beach, with plenty of birdlife to watch. Beautiful location where you can swim, fish and kayak without travelling anywhere. All your basic needs met in Collingwood, a 10 minute drive away. We had a great stay.

Stayed February 2020Wonderful few days in this iconic Kiwi Bach. Peaceful and quiet with the water so close for swimming at high tide. Loved being surrounded by tall Totara and Matai at the cottage.

Stayed January 2020Great traditional bach simple but had everything you needed. Lovely sitting watching the tide go in and out over the bay. Great to be able to borrow the kayaks and go for a wee paddle.

Stayed December 2019Great comfortable bach with everything you need and the setting is superb. Gannets were diving into the water in front of the bach and the tuis were constant in the garden. Great location.
